Chloe O'Connor must be given a custodial sentence

This petition is directed at the magistrates at the court in Tameside.

On 9th September, you will have before you Chloe O'Connor, who killed a cat called 'Trouble' with a cross-bow in a random act of cruelty. We, the undersigned, implore you to impose a custodial sentence upon O'Connor. This poor cat must have suffered terribly, and his owner, a neighbour of O'Connor's, must be extremely upset as a result of her actions. British people feel very strongly about cruelty to animals, and this should be taken in to account when sentencing those convicted of animal cruelty. Justice cannot be served in this case with a lesser punishment, eg community service, probation etc.
